MACROmize

FINALLY! Ok so I'm a little more than excited that I finally went out and got a new Macro Lens! Yay! Obviously, the first thing I wanted to do with it was take a million pictures of my new Fall Collection. I can't tell you how glad I am that I can finally take photos that do justice to my materials, like the stunningly textured pyrite beads featured above! Luckily, I was able to get any photos in before it started to rain but as my photo session was cut short this is merely a sneak (and incomplete) preview.

Whats with Today Today?

Is it just me or does this outfit embody everything you want in your fall wardrobe too?
Incidentally this is how september has felt.

La Dolce Vita

Three boots by Dolce Vita that I am desperately pining for. They each embody a 90s nostalgia I just can't seem to get enough of

Couldn't If I Wanted To

I have an overload of new items piling up and for three weeks now I've been putting off photographing them because I've been planning to get a new macro lens which will hopefully let me take pictures that will do justice to my pieces. Especially for things like new Pyrite charm necklaces and plenty of Crystals! Until then the blog will have to survive on found photos (this one has a colour scheme that is shockingly similar to my fall lineup!)

School Daze

Its September and I'm back at school and somehow being back on a rigid schedule has thrust my life into complete disarray. Organization ruins me

Hairspiration

I suffer from the chronic need to drastically change my hair, and sometimes, when you're someone who always has different hair, the most different thing you can do is go natural. After chopping my hair to inches from my skull and bleaching the hell out of it I decided to embark on the long and tedious task of growing out my hair. Its taken several months just to reach my shoulders and I'm already starting to get the itch for change. But I'm dedicated to the process, and photos like this give me the hope that once I get there, there'll be something new and ridiculous that I can do to it.

All a girl needs

Some rainy days are just made to sit around in your underpants. Why not throw on a cocktail ring and counter the dreary day with your glittery self?

Just like Candy

I recently bought this amazing batch of vintage chandelier crystals in a variety of candy colours and I can't wait to get to work on them. There are the most amazing tones of pale rose, amber, turquoise, greens, ruby red, and even a couple iridescent ones (you can see one of them in the left side of the top picture). This is the process of me cleaning them (when I bought them they were covered in dirt), each one gets soaked, scrubbed and set out to dry. There are most likely some new bodychains and earrings coming soon but honestly even I don't know until I actually sit down to work.
