A Power-ful Collaboration

In addition to all the mayhem surrounding the release of my S/S13 Collection, I'm excited to announce to this spring I'll also be releasing a custom collaboration with the very talented Caitlin Power! A small selection of specially designed pieces will be shown at the upcoming Toronto Fashion Week on the runway with her F/W13 collection! I'm extremely excited about this project and though I can't leak any sneak peeks, heres a view of my desk at the moment to give you a sense of the chaos

Spring Musings

Its tough work running my one man army! In the past few months Dolorous has gown faster and in more ways than I ever could have imagined. With so many exciting things on the horizon I thought it was due time to catch up! After an extremely hectic holiday season, including a one of a kind sale exclusive with Lavish and Squalor and getting an exciting collaboration underway, it was time to start on the spring summer collection! Using a variety of soft pastels and some great new materials the collection shows a softer, more feminine side of Dolorous. Bright and girlie was the concept for the collection, as well as for the lookbook shoot! Below are a few of the fun and feminine props we had floating around the shoot. Expect the S/S13 Lookbook soon!!!

The S/S 12 Collection is finally up in my Etsy shop! Shown above is one of my best sellers the Brass Bow Bolo which is selling out fast! This collection features lots of pastels and crystals and a variety of ways to add some sparkle to your Spring Summer wardrobe! Many of the pieces in this collection feature unique vintage findings and because of that, many are of very limited quantities.

I was recently lucky enough to have my jewellery on the staggeringly beautiful Daria Werbowy for the the relaunch of Glow Magazine! Here are a few screen shots from the Behind-the-Scenes video shoot, featuring the Dolorous Triangled necklace and Slave Bracelet. Daria actually liked both pieces so much that she asked if she could keep them! Obviously I was happy to accomodate, who could say no to that face?
